friday night lecture: livestreamed

March 19 | 7:00 – 8:30pm

It has been almost a year since, responding to the global pandemic, most of us have had to drastically change our day to day habits, activities and our usual rituals. But what has impacted so many very deeply has been our inability to connect with others in the ways that we were used to. Although we may want to blame a disease for causing us these internal challenges of mental discomfort over the past year, if we look more deeply at our situation, the real problem is that we are living in a state of unknowing, suffering and confusion, arising from uncontrolled minds.

Buddha taught the truth about suffering, its causes and how to transform suffering into profound and peaceful states of mind that lead to actual freedom from suffering, permanently.
