We may be very familiar with the word “karma” as it is commonly used in the world around us. But do we actually know what karma is and how important it is to deeply understand this topic?

Karma means actions: the actions of our body, speech and mind. Through understanding karma, we can prevent future suffering and create a foundation for future happiness. Take charge of your future and learn how understanding karma can help you to create the world you wish for.

Classes include guided meditations, a brief teaching on the topic and ways to integrate our new understanding into daily life.

Gen Khyenwang is Resident Teacher of Odiyana Kadampa Buddhist Center. She is a close disciple and student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and has been practicing and teaching under his guidance for many years. The teachings she shares are clear, heartfelt and extremely practical for modern life.
