About the Teacher:
Gen Khyenwang is an inspiring example of a contemporary Buddhist practitioner and is known for her warmth and sincerity, putting time-tested teachings into practice in daily life. She has been practicing and teaching Buddhist meditation for many years under the guidance of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, the founder of the New Kadampa Tradition. The teachings she shares are clear, heartfelt and extremely practical for modern life.
About the retreat:
Everyone is welcome to this weekend retreat where we will receive heartfelt advice to bring great meaning to our life. Gen Khyenwang will be sharing these precious teachings that were transmitted by Gen-la Khyenrab and Gen-la Dekyong at the International Fall Festival in Arizona. This retreat will be a precious opportunity to take to heart the profound and transformative teachings from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s latest text entitled “The Mirror of Dharma”. Everyone is welcome, whether or not you have attended the Fall Festival.

Session 3: 11:15am – 12:30pm
Lunch Break: 12:30 – 2:30pm
Session 4: 2:30 – 3:45pm
Sunday – Oct. 13
Session 5: 10:30 -11:45am (part of regular Sunday drop-in class)
