Creating a Pure World

This in-depth meditation retreat will emphasize the powerful meditation practice of mentally offering a pure universe filled with pure environments, pure enjoyments, populated by a pure society helping one another attain pure happiness and peace. “Mandala” means a pure universe filled with pure environments, pure enjoyments, populated by a pure society helping one another attain pure happiness and peace.

This retreat will use the beautiful and blessed traditional prayers, Hundreds of Deities of the Joyful Land according to Highest Yoga Tantra and emphasize the powerful meditation practice of making mental mandala offerings. By engaging in these meditations sincerely we can transform our body, mind, environment and activities into the blissful wisdom of enlightenment.

A Retreat on Your Own Schedule

This retreat is available from Saturday, June 12, until Tuesday, June 15, after the conclusion of the last session.

The guided session will be live at 5:30pm on Sunday, June 13.  However, the self-guided sessions are available beginning Saturday morning at 7:45am. The times for the self-guided sessions are suggested times, but you are welcome to access the sessions at the times that works best for you!

 

With Resident Teacher Gen Khyenwang

Gen Khyenwang leads the guided sessions for this retreat and is the Resident Teacher of Odiyana Kadampa Buddhist Center.

She is a close disciple and student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and has been practicing and teaching under his guidance for many years. The teachings she shares are clear, heartfelt and extremely practical for modern life. Learn more about the teacher here.
