Everyone is welcome to this very special event.
During this special ceremony, Gen Khyenwang will grant the blessing empowerment of Guru Vajrasattva. We will then receive commentary on how to engage in a simple, profound purification practice, through which we can swiftly purify our mind and profoundly improve our lives, enabling us to actualize our potential for lasting freedom and happiness.
Why do we need a pure mind?
When our mind is pure, our experiences are pure and we are happy. When our mind is impure, we experience our world in a negative way and then naturally create more problems both for ourself and others. Buddha explained that our experience of happiness and joy are the result of our pure actions or good karma. Suffering and difficulty are the result of impure actions or bad karma. Out of his compassion for all living beings who wish to be happy all the time, Buddha revealed the profound practice for purifying negative karma through the practice of Buddha Vajrasattva.
