This is a perfect opportunity to join either of two new Foundation Programs that are now forming and will begin in February. Attend one of these introductory classes to find out more about the programs. Each introductory class will focus on the benefits, format and commitments of Foundation Program as well as the particular text that will be studied.
What is Foundation Program?
Foundation Program a profound way to deepen your meditation practice by gaining powerful and practical experience of Buddha’s teachings. Students commit to studying a book and attending weekly classes. This course provides the opportunity to engage with a text at a deeper level, by listening to commentary, engaging in meditation and discussing the teachings in paired groups and whole group discussion. In this way, we can gain authentic experience of the Dharma while still maintaining our contemporary lifestyle. By studying on this program, we shall gain great confidence in meditation – from basic techniques for overcoming our everyday problems to practices leading to unsurpassed happiness and permanent inner peace. Warm friendships develop as students inspire each other, sharing insights and experiences of the spiritual path.
There are two new Foundation Program classes that are just beginning. Register for either of the introductory classes to learn more:
