General Program classes are suitable for both beginners and more advanced practitioners. The emphasis of these classes is how to meditate and how to practically apply Buddhist teachings to our daily lives. By learning and practicing meditation in our own lives, we can improve our quality of life by developing inner peace and letting go of the causes of pain and dissatisfaction.
The program consists of drop-in classes, supplemented by day courses, weekend courses, and meditation retreats. Although the drop-in classes are offered as a series, each class is self-contained and offers guided meditations, practical advice from Buddhist teachings, brief discussion, and time for Q & A. You don’t have to be a Buddhist to enjoy these teachings…just someone who has a wish to improve their state of mind for themselves and for others.
All classes are open to everyone.
