Buddha taught that all our pain and suffering we experience is coming from not understanding clearly the way things really are.  Because of this misconception, we go about our daily life blaming external objects, difficult situations, other people or our self for all of our problems.  Through gaining familiarity with the way things actually exist, we can experience freedom from delusions and negative states of mind that keeps us trapped in this cycle of unhappiness and painful experiences.

During this retreat, we will focus on gaining experience with the emptiness of the body.  Through gaining familiarity with this profound knowledge and engaging in the related meditations, we can reduce our physical tension, anxiety and discomfort related to our body and begin to cease grasping at the body we normally see, and instead learn practically how to relate to it with wisdom.

This retreat will include teachings, guided meditation, time for discussion and questions related to the topic.  This retreat is perfectly suited for all levels.
