Learn to Meditate

Starting Feb. 4th

Sundays, 3 – 4pm
With Kadampa Buddhist Teacher Sandie Woodford

Drop in to this weekly class and learn how to meditate. Meditation is a scientific method that functions to make the mind peaceful and positive. Through guided meditations and brief advice on how to maintain the peaceful minds that we do cultivate, our daily life becomes a means to improving our compassion and wisdom.

*Although taught as a series, each class is self-contained. Feel free to drop in to any of these classes at any point in the series.

Topics may include:
Feb. 4 – Discovering our precious human life
Feb. 11- Death and Impermanence
Feb. 18- Wisdom Fear
Feb. 25- Finding real protection

Special course on March 4th, 3-5pm with Kelsang Khyenwang, Resident Teacher from Odiyana KBC.
