Meditation functions to make the mind calm and peaceful. If the mind is peaceful all the time, we will be happy all the time. So if we really wish to be happy all the time, we need to practice meditation. Each class includes guided meditation and brief advice on how to maintain a positive, clear mind in daily life.

Topics may include:
April 21 – Recognizing and reducing anger
April 28 – The art of patient acceptance
May 5 – What is attachment?
May 12 – The faults of attachment
May 19 – Freedom from attachment
May 26 – Deluded pride
June 2 – Developing humility
June 9 – Dangers of jealousy
June 16 – Alertness and mindfulness
