Learn to Meditate

Meditation functions to make the mind calm and peaceful. If the mind is peaceful all the time, we will be happy all the time. So if we really wish to be happy all the time, we need to practice meditation.

Each class includes brief practical advice from the Lamrim meditations, or stages of the path to enlightenment. Meditations are guided so we can first let go of distractions and then naturally arrive at positive conclusions, intentions and feelings to transform the mind from negative to positive.

Topics may include:
Feb. 14 – Benefiting others through love
Feb. 21 – The Power of concentration
Feb. 28 – Training in higher wisdom
Mar. 7 – The wish for lasting peace

$10 or free for Odiyana Center Supporting Members.
