Classes at the center and branch classes are open to everyone. Most classes are drop-in and pre-registration is not required.The function of meditation is to make the mind peaceful and calm. When our mind is peaceful and calm, we are happy. All classes teach how to meditate in order to cultivate healthy, positive states of mind and how to recognize and eliminate negative states of mind. Classes are taught by the Resident Teacher, or other qualified Kadampa teachers.Try to arrive 10-15 minutes before class in order to settle before the class begins.
