Creating a Peaceful Space | The Six Preparations for Meditation

Meditation is the method to make the mind peaceful and calm. Learn about the power and meaning of creating your own space at home for meditation practice. With good preparation, we experience good results. In this class, we will learn six preparatory practices, to help make our meditation successful. Everyone is welcome. No experience necessary.

Note: There will be water offering bowls and other objects for purchase in the shop to set up your own personal shrine.

About the Teacher:

Gen Khyenwang is an inspiring example of a contemporary Buddhist practitioner and is known for her warmth and sincerity, putting time-tested teachings into practice in daily life. She has been practicing and teaching Buddhist meditation for many years under the guidance of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, the founder of the New Kadampa Tradition. The teachings she shares are clear, heartfelt and extremely practical for modern life.
