Saturday, March 18 ~ 10am-3pm

with Resident Teacher Kadam Eve

A Bodhisattva is a friend of the world, someone who has decided to develop their good qualities, such as love, compassion and wisdom, and reach their full potential in order to benefit others. Going for refuge is the doorway to entering Buddhism and becoming a Buddhist, and taking the Bodhisattva Vow is the doorway to entering Mahayana Buddhism and following the Bodhisattva’s way of life. Kadam Eve will explain these steps in the morning and grant Refuge and Bodhisattva vows in the afternoon.

Everyone is welcome. You can attend the introduction without attending the ceremony if you wish and you can also take Refuge Vows without taking the Bodhisattva Vow if you wish.
