Awakening the Heart
Silent Half Day Retreat
Saturday, March 17 | 10am – 2pm
With Resident Teacher, Kelsang Khyenwang
With the busyness of daily life, we need to make time to retreat, recover and re-energize. Our true nature is compassion, but this powerful, pure heart can often feel completely obscured with the distractions, worries or fears that often arise unchecked in our busy daily routine.
In this retreat, we will awaken the joy and freedom that arises from a peaceful mind through the powerful energy of the Buddha of Compassion.
Each session will include brief but profound chanted prayers of Avalokitshvara, Buddha of compassion and guided meditations with the intention to purify our own body and mind, and that of others.
*It is recommended that you attend the retreat in its entirety, as each session builds on the previous one. Per-session registration is not available online, but walk-ins are welcome for those who cannot attend all sessions.
Light refreshments available during the breaks.
